What To Test (And Why It Matters)

1. Chlorine

Think of chlorine as your pool’s frontline defense. It sanitizes the water by killing bacteria, algae, and other unwanted microorganisms. We make sure your free chlorine stays at the optimal level so your pool stays sanitary.

2. pH

pH measures how acidic or basic your water is on a scale of 0 to 14.

  • The Sweet Spot: We aim for 7.4 to 7.6, which mirrors the natural pH of human eyes and skin.

  • If it’s too high, your chlorine stops working effectively; if it’s too low, the water becomes acidic and can sting your eyes or corrode your equipment.

3. Total Alkalinity

4. Cyanuric Acid / Stabilizer

5. Calcium Hardness

6. Salt (For Saltwater Pools)
